Sportswear Luxe – Fashion Trends

Sportswear Luxe – Fashion Trends With the sporting event of the London Olympics already getting everyone excited, it may be this which has started a new trend in the fashion industry. The sportswear luxe style is one that has been sweeping the globe with its laid back look and comfortable feel. The look is the best way to stay stylish while still appearing casual. It has already been said that it will this year’s biggest style trend and one to watch out for when you next out shopping for some new attire and fresh additions to your wardrobe. Normally the most on trend pieces are of a more uncomfortable feel but this new sporty fashion seems to one of the comfiest to ever hit the fashion scene. Men and women everywhere are rejoicing at the thought of not having to wear skin tight jeans and figure hugging tops all day. It may even allow a few of us to forgive those love handles and muffin tops we have been longing to get rid of. Do not let yourself go just yet. The sportswear luxe trend is tolerant and still has elements of style rather than slobbery. We would normally consider the athletic trend to consist of hoodies, tracksuit bottoms, trainers, polo shirts and sweatpants. But that is the best thing about the trend, it is a lot more fashion forward than the usual laid back apparel that we are used to seeing in the stores and designer brands collections. You will find with this look that normal pieces like trousers and jackets have been combined with laid back styles to create an athletic trend with the addition of a few casual elements to make the item look less smart than it usually would. So think along the lines of tracksuits in the style of actual suits, blazers combined with hoodies and plenty of trainers and plimsolls. Basically more tailored versions of usual laid back attire. Putting together a look that incorporates the trend may be a little tricky if you are new to the look. Try starting off with a few stylish hoodies worn with some simple chinos and trainers or sneakers. You could even try pairing a blazer with some straight leg joggers and a pair of basic plimsolls. Another idea could be to match a quilted jacket and a pair of casual turn ups and accessorised with some training shoes. There are plenty of looks available once you start searching for some key pieces. Just make sure to stay well away from the full on polyester tracksuit and you will be right on trend this season.
